Unplug Lift or Disconnect Battery Leads
After gate is mounted, run the gate wire up thru the knockout on the tower into the electrical box. The gate wire connects to the control device as shown in the control device schematic. Put the control device in the tower box. The wires coming off the control device are connected to the long white terminal strip. The long white terminal strip is numbered 1 thru 18 from the top. Remove the jumper wire between pin 1 and 2 before wiring. Set the timer for the amount of time the gate remains unlatched, 1 - 10 seconds. Reconnect power to the lift. Test gate & lift operation.
The gate will only operate with the lift at the top landing and the upper limit engaged. Press the up control on the lift or call/send station to open the gate. This will unlatch the gate for 10 seconds. If this time runs out the up control must be pressed again The lift will not operate when gate is open. Key off the call send unit to lock the gate.
